hello all
The ballboy week has been a strange one this week, beginning with the news that Mr Edward Pybus - SL records head honcho has broken his arm in an Ozzy Osborne-style quad-biking accident. His rock and roll credentials were further enhanced by his announcement that he 'rode it off a cliff', but were later tempered a little by the further clarification that he 'rode it off a six foot cliff'. Still he managed to avoid having the bike fall on top of him which was a stroke of luck.
At the weekend we had the enjoyment of helping garyballboy move house which all went pretty smoothly (even the piano shifting was fine) until we came to the attic. As gary's better half was protesting that he needed to throw it all out gary was guiltily sneaking everything into the removal van. So the following is a list of 5 things out of about a million that gary can't live without:
1. His collection of scissors 2. 150 cuddly toys including a giant lion and a giant tiger 3. 200 coloured lolly pop sticks (ownership hotly disputed) 4. A home-made puppet prototype 5. His collection of long-johns
(one of these 5 is made up, but i'll let you guess which one).
On the musical front we have some shows coming up in Edinburgh. On July the 2nd we will be playing at Potterrow as part of the 'Make Poverty History' protests in Edinburgh. Full details will be up on the site in the next couple of days.
And on August 25th we will be playing a Tigerfest show at the Venue. More details when I have them.
That's about all - just time to mention that more downloads will be available in the next few weeks so keep an eye out. Also we will be adding more links to the links page soon.
And finally a wee congratulations to the Swedish Ladies for their fine performance in the face of intimidation and dodgy refereeing against England in Euro 2005. ;-)

Bloody dictatorial editing of otherwise amusing anecdotes. I'll have my day in court thank you.
Isn't Wimbledon intensely boring, bring on the bear baiting I say. June 22nd.
