hello to all

Firstly a big thanks to everyone who came to the recent shows in Edinburgh and in Glasgow.

We really enjoyed both gigs and in Glasgow I had the unique experience of feeling like George Michael (LIKE I said) as towards the end of the show the big shaven-headed bouncer was down the front telling people to stop dancing and calm down. It reminded me of the BBC news footage of Wham in China for those of you too young to automatically get that reference. I've now just spent 5 minutes trying to remember if Wham should be written as Wham! but I've decided I don't really care so I'm going to move onto this week's next bit of news:

On Friday at 11.30 on BBC2 Scotland The Music Show will play a concept video of "IDHTTSHWYFATSOMD" by us and featuring me in my second ever acting role (not counting the time I played an Egyptian slave driver at Primary School) and Nickyboy and Alexa in what I'm sure are their acting debuts (does 'debut' have a plural s? - this blog is giving me a lot of unforseen headaches today). Gary - being too famous - has a body double for his role.

The show also has cartoons by the mighty David Shrigley and a whole host of other Scottish bands over the next 6 weeks. The first show has us, B+S, and Sons and Daughters. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Sons and Daughters are sexy and scary at the same time? That is, of course, a compliment.
