1. Money Can’t Buy Music – The Universe for Beginners We are pleased to announce that the Scottish/Swedish Electronic Folk Pop album by Gordonballboy and Maja Mångård of Sweden is now on general release. 2. Midsummer (a play with songs) – Soundtrack.
Midsummer (a play with songs) is a collaboration between playwright David Greig and Gordonballboy. It is the story of Bob and Helena and a wild Midsummer weekend of one night stands, drinking, bondage, music, hangovers, rain, lobsters, goths, gangsters, guitars and Edinburgh. It was first performed at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh on Friday the 24th of October 2008. Cora Bisset played the part of Helena and Matthew Pigeon played the part of Bob It was revived for a tour of Ireland and Scotland and has since had a sell out run at the Edinburgh Festival and at The Cultch in Vancouver.
The songs on this CD are the original versions of the songs that are in the show. They are sung and performed by Gordon and Lisa Bradley. More info on Midsummer here:
